Jobs..

Well not so much jobs but positions. I’m referring to the positions we all hold in life, a lot of the time they are almost the same as other people, d’ya think I’m babbling on? Ok lets look at mine and if I was good or bad at them.

Firstly I was a son and over the years, almost 61 of them I’d like to think I’ve been good, in the early years I think I was a bit of a handful but in the main I’d say I’ve been a good son.

My second position was Brother, slightly different to other brothers than to my sister’s. I can remember at times I was a pain in the ass to both but I definitely haven’t been a bad brother.

The first two are positions I’ve ways had but the remainder have been temporary depending on where I’ve lived.

I suppose next comes Friend, during this expansive time so far there have been many people that I’ve been a friend to but I’ve been quite picky over who I’ve chosen to be close to so not as many as most people. Because of this I can honestly say that I think I’ve been good.

Schoolboy… not good so snuff said…

Army apprentice. Hmmm, I suppose I could have and should have done better.

Various employee. In 25 different jobs, did ok in most.

Salesman. For more than 30 years I worked mainly in the I.T.industry and in most jobs I was good at what I did. Some just in sales and some in management, but as I said I’d say I was good.

Somewhere in there is Skydiver, not brilliant but a reasonable jumper.

Husband.. three times, well if I said I was also divorced three times and no longer marriedI think it would be fair to say, I sucked.

Father.. My two kids don’t talk to me so the same applies to this.

Foreigner.. I lived in Colorado in the US for eleven years, a good Brit to the majority I met.

Client Service Director. I worked for the world leading authority in biological dentistry and complimentary medicine and healing. Ok this is where I excelled. During a nearly four year period I talked with more than 17,000 patients. I can honest say that I personally helped several thousand of them and I’m  very proud of what I did. I’m also humbled by my connection with some amazing medical and dental professionals I associated with.

Disabled geezer in Worksop. Is my current role and in this I’m doing well. Considering I was diagnosed with an incurable and life threatening disease 12 years ago and the neurologist told me I would be in a wheelchair permanently within 6 months if I didn’t take the medicine. Well I never have and other than journeys out, I’m not, so well done me.
