I suppose even the nicest people can come over as naive at times and others can have views that appear to others to just be wrong but at the end of the day we all have a right to our opinion. Sometimes we may look on that view or opinion as if the person has been lied to or mislead to think the way they do but sometimes no matter how strongly you feel about that particular subject nothing will change their view.
During my time at Huggins Applied Healing I came across quite a few with that attitude and once or twice it was with the partner (husband or wife) of a client desperately looking for help. This was when the call was from someone with a life threatening disease like cancer or ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and had heard about the incredible work of Dr Huggins. I’d spend an hour or more listening and sharing my experiences, I never ever told anyone that they would be cured by going through a two week clinic but what I did know and share was that 86% of patients had experienced a successful treatment that improved their quality of life.
The patients treated just during my time there had been one’s suffering from what allopathic doctors had labelled incurable diseases, Cancer, MS, ALS, degenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
The partners of patients unwilling to listen and have an open mind were people that restricted others from potential life changing or even life saving treatment, this ignorance bordering on belligerence was very saddening and cruel.
In this instance my opinions have not been based on a book or an article in a newspaper or medical journal, no my opinion was based on my own personal experience. Actually seeing a patient with one of those diseases go through an amazing recovery.
As I said, we all have a right to an opinion but opinions should never prevent someone else from saving their own life.
