I am constantly being surprised by the changes my body goes through on a daily basis, some obviously due to the fact that I have this horrid F%^&£$% disease, but occasionally like today when my brain is whizzing around trying to work out what exactly is making me feel so good. No complaints but I’d sure like to continue with this positivity, yesterday and for a couple of days previous to that I’d been experiencing extreme fatigue in the late afternoons and early evening. The only thing that I can think of that’s been different to what I believe to be a very positive protocol is a lessening of the 3 ½ litres of water I have to drink. So today I insisted I drink at least 2 ½ litres by lunchtime. I’m close to that now and it’s 11.20 am so as much as it has a couple of frustrating aspects it does appear to have a positive impact.
The frustrating side is more of a Catch 22 thing, the more I drink the more I need to go to the loo, getting up and making my way there 25 times a day is extremely tiring, so drinking less means I only go every 30 minutes instead of every 10.. But not drinking means my whole body is unbelievably weak. Weak as in not able to stand for more than 30 seconds or finding it really difficult to shuffle into a position to get up off the sofa.
Anyway enough of the negative, more optimism now, I’m grateful for the good parts and accept there are going to be crappy days but in reality it’s the bad that make the good so much better.
