Every day is a challenge for me physically, mentally and emotionally, I suppose looking at these three it’s the physical side that’s more demanding simply because every move I make, be it getting up off the sofa which happens 20 times each day or moving something to and from the kitchen. These natural everyday functions that seem easy peasy to most people are so demanding physically to me, but strangely enough I’ve accepted that my physical restrictions are at least for the time being what they are, temporary.
Mentally is a problem, but I suppose that all comes down to my ego, I think everyone has an ego and that is based on what each individual has or hasn’t done in their own lives. In my case I know physically I’ve done more than most. I want to make this clear, I don’t think of myself as better than anyone else or bitter and think it should be someone else suffering. No this is mine to deal with, no one elses fault, it happened and I will beat it.
It’s the emotional side that’s harder for me, I write about the reasons people get sick or contract a specific disease and in my mind I have a view that’s different from 99.9% of people. Because I worked with Dr Huggins I had the opportunity to learn from the world leading authority in his field of biological dentistry. I studied his work and that of many others that have pioneered natural healing.
So my opinion isn’t based on hearsay or something I read on Wikipedia or found on Google no it’s solid proven research and results, so to others I have a different opinion but to me its not an opinion, it’s fact.
Now the reason why the emotional aspect is more of a challenge is that I know in my heart that this disease can be beaten, it’s Curable and not incurable as “they” say.
So as much as it hurts 24/7 and restricts my every move I keep telling myself that I will win. In some ways I can liken this to my belief in God, I can’t see him, he doesn’t talk to me (he does but I’m not going to talk about that now) it’s my faith.
My faith is indestructible, I know I’m right, I believe and I have faith.
I am feeling very positive about the two changes I’ve made in the past couple of weeks, I think getting the fresh air in itself is helping. I believe the Grounding or Earthing appears to be improving a variety of things from general balance to a greater awareness within my body.
I suppose that might sound strange but what I am referring to is actually becoming aware of the toes on my left foot and being able to spread them.
When i go outside it’s quite difficult really making sure I tread very carefully down the two concrete steps in bare feet, my toes sometimes aren’t doing what I want them to, as in lifting properly. But so far there’s been no scrapes or broken toes. Getting up from the low chair is getting easier as is negotiating my way back in.
So being positive and optimistic is a good place to.
I’m having juiced fruits and veggies at breakfast and lunch, I think for another week I’ll stick with two juices and a solid meal at 6pm.

JUICE FASTING RECOVERIES – DIFFERENT CONDITIONS
Arnold deVries writes about these raw juice therapy recoveries in The Elixir Of Life (1952):

These are just a few of many available case stories in historical literature, starting in the 1830’s. Before that, several ancient civilizations, e.g. the Roman, used raw diets and fasting for disease recovery.
Since writing about Grounding I’ve been getting outside at least twice per day, to start it was quite a challenge negotiating the steps especially being barefoot.
Because my left side suffers the dreaded “dropfoot” problem I’m constantly worried that I’ll sprain my ankle or break a toe.
But early on about 7.45 am I shuffle out gripping the door handle and getting white knuckles then eventually sitting on a chair on the grass. The first time, I stayed for 30 minutes counting traffic but it felt nice to be outside and strangely it felt great being barefoot on the grass.
I wasn’t sure what to expect really, it might do nothing more than be pleasurable being outside in the fresh air but I’ll keep an open mind.
Getting back inside was difficult but once I’d done that I felt a strange but good feeling of improved stability. Was this a real improvement albeit a minor one or was this just wishful thinking. Late afternoon as the sun was no longer directly over me I went out again for another half hour. I actually felt different, ok I’m not going to rave about “Grounding” or “Earthing” but the minor differences to me are definitely changing my skeptical view.
For the last two years I’ve not been able to spread my toes on my left foot, it’s horrible not having control or my leg properly, straining to move my foot and stretch my toes but nothing happening is frustrating.
But….But it is happening now….I look down and smile when I feel and see my toes spread and I can actually feel different sensations. Ok it’s not perfect and it’s only a small, very small change but it’s a change, an improvement and I’ve only done it six times. I did buy an inexpensive earthing mat which I keep my feet on for several hours per day.
Also for four days now I’ve been juicing two meals per day, I’m fighting with myself mentally because my education with Dr.Huggins goes against juicing “per se”, his research showed that by juicing and separating the pulp from the juice it is also separating some necessary enzymes thus creating a “partitioned food”.
This may well be a fact and may well have a limiting factor but there is no doubt I’m feeling good inside.
I’m going to stick with the juicing and grounding for a month and re-evaluate my condition then, so for the time being I’m using Mother Nature to sustain me.
Several years ago while living in Colorado I dated an interesting woman who was very passionate about negative ions, she insisted I plug a negative ion generator into the cigarette lighter socket in my truck and had others placed strategically around the house.
At first I thought this to be a little radical but it did encourage me to do some research and I was a little surprised at what I read about the possible dangers from free radicals.
Free radical stress from exposure to mercury pollution, cigarettes, insecticides, pesticides, trans fats, radiation, and many others, continually deplete your body of electrons

Living water is negatively charged water. This water can hold energy, much like a battery, and can deliver energy too. When you ground, you are charging every single cell in your body with energy your body can use for self-healing
Surfaces that will allow your body to ground include: sand, beach, grass, bare soil, concrete, brick, and ceramic tile
So having reminded myself of the benefits of grounding and being in direct contact with “mother earth” I’m attempting to walk around without shoes or socks. This might seem like a nothing thing to 99.9% of people but I have something called “drop foot” that restricts my left foot from automatically raising properly as I walk. So apart from being extremely weak with MS and having to furniture and wall walk I have to really concentrate with every step or there’s a chance of a toe or two bending under as I walk and that as you can imagine is sort of painful to say the least.
For the very first since I moved into my nice little flat I went outside, very carefully and took a couple of steps. These were limited to being able to keep hold of the door handle, but it felt great.
I found an inexpensive “earthing mat” on Amazon which is plugged into an electric socket to get “earthed” but obviously not turned on, I’ll be able to sit inside with my bare feet on the mat.
